Impressionism
印象主義 / 1860s–1880s / 양식 / 회화 기법
야외로 나가 눈에 들어오는 빛 자체를 빠른 붓질로 붙잡은 운동. 윤곽선을 버리고 그림자를 검정이 아니라 보색으로 놓았으며, 같은 대상을 시각마다 다르게 그렸다. 이후의 전위는 거의 전부 이 운동에 대한 찬반으로 자신을 규정한다.
