Fauvism

색을 대상의 묘사에서 잘라내고 순색을 평평한 면으로 화면에 내던진 단명한 운동. 붓질 자체가 윤곽을 떠맡고, 나란히 놓인 보색이 화면을 진동시킨다. 색을 감정의 장치로 쓰는 이후의 모든 디자인이 여기서 출발했다.
