Un movimiento efímero que separó el color de la representación del objeto y lanzó tonos puros como planos llanos sobre el lienzo. La propia pincelada asume el contorno, y la vecindad de los complementarios hace vibrar la superficie. Fue el punto de partida de todo diseño posterior que usa el color como dispositivo emocional.
