시는 자연을 옮기는 것이 아니라 새로운 사실을 창조한다고 선언한, 칠레에서 출발해 파리를 거친 운동. 문자를 도형처럼 배치하는 시각시를 대량으로 낳으며 말과 화면의 경계를 실험의 대상으로 삼았다. 울트라이스모와 더불어 스페인어권 아방가르드의 기둥.
