Shibori
絞り染め / 8th century– / Technique / Textile Traditions
Técnica en la que la tela se cose, se ata o se prensa entre tablas antes de teñirla, de modo que solo las zonas bajo presión quedan en blanco. El resultado queda en manos de la fuerza del artesano y del movimiento del tejido, y de un mismo patrón nunca salen dos piezas iguales.
