그림과 새김과 인쇄의 분업을 부정하고 스스로 그리고 스스로 새기고 스스로 찍는다고 선언한 운동. 기술적 완성도보다 작가의 손길을 남기는 쪽을 택했고, 같은 시기의 신판화와는 정반대의 길을 갔다.
