ゴシック・リヴァイヴァル / 1740s–1900s / 양식 / 역사 양식
산업화와 고전주의에 대한 이의로서 중세의 첨두아치와 수직성을 의도적으로 다시 택한 운동. 단순한 회고가 아니었다. 양식의 선택이 도덕과 국민성에 관한 주장이 된다는 생각을 만들어 냈다.
