エジプシャン・リヴァイヴァル / late 18th–19th century / 양식 / 역사 양식
18세기 말부터 19세기에 고대 이집트의 건축과 장식을 근대의 기념물, 묘지, 극장, 가구로 옮긴 부흥 양식이다. 오벨리스크, 파일런 모양 입구, 파피루스와 연꽃 기둥머리, 날개 달린 태양 원반을 무겁고 대칭적인 구성으로 정리한다.

- Center a pylon gate within low, heavy symmetry and use only one pair of obelisks or bundled columns.

- Build from rough sandstone color, dark blue-green and oxidized metal, limiting winged disks and lotus forms to shallow relief.
- 주의
- Do not confuse ancient Egyptian art with a modern Western revival of it. Do not collect pyramids, sphinxes and invented hieroglyphs without meaning; acknowledge the histories of archaeology, empire and collecting.
