ピュリスム / 1918–1925 / Style / Machine Aesthetics

입체주의가 장식으로 흘렀다고 비판하며 기계 시대에 걸맞은 명료한 형태로 돌아가자고 주장한 운동. 병과 잔, 기타 같은 표준화된 '오브제 티프'를 수평·수직의 질서와 절제된 색으로 그린다. 잡지 《에스프리 누보》를 통해 근대 건축과 그래픽의 규범이 되었다.
