Jangarh Kalam

ジャンガル・カラム / 1980s– / Style / Popular Painting

A contemporary lineage growing from Jangarh Singh Shyam's practice and other Pardhan artists in central India. Large animal, plant and mythic forms carry flowing patterns of dots and short strokes. It is a particular modern artistic development, with distinct makers and new media, rather than a name for all historic Gond mural painting.

Material
Document each work's paper, ink, pigments or acrylic; do not reproduce a particular artist's pattern.
