19세기 중반의 실루엣 시스템으로, 스커트 아래에 있는 겹쳐진 금속 고리를 테이프로 연결하여 전체 둘레를 벨 모양이나 돔 형태로 확장합니다. 대량 생산된 구조는 무거운 페티코트 여러 겹을 대체하고, 옷의 형태와 착용자의 공간 모두 변화시켰습니다.
