1934년 국가의 공식 양식으로 규정된 리얼리즘으로, 노동자와 지도자를 이상화된 모습으로 그린다. 아방가르드의 실험을 물리치고 누구나 읽을 수 있는 이미지를 택해, 낮은 시점과 앞으로 나아가는 군중, 밝은 미래의 빛으로 체제의 서사를 반복했다. 국가가 양식을 법령으로 정한 드문 사례로서 중요하다.
