Technique qui trouble au souffle ou au pinceau les cercles concentriques d'encre déposés sur l'eau, puis les relève sur le papier. Le flux qui apparaît sur chaque feuille est irreproductible et, des papiers décorés de l'époque de Heian à la reliure contemporaine, il demeure une méthode pour inviter le hasard à dessein.
