Chine Collé

19th century–present / Technique / Print Expression

Typographie: Keep lettering in the work separate from added labels; place medium, artist and date outside the image.
Composition: Plan the thin paper edge and image position together, including the surrounding support.
Matière: Check the collection medium record and the paper and ink; do not infer materials from screen colour alone.
Précaution: Do not infer it from a coloured rectangle alone. Verify that bonding accompanies printing and identify the image-making technique separately.
