Un movimiento nacido en París que liberó a la letra de su función de transportar significado y consideró el sonido y la forma mismos como material de la obra. De las superficies cubiertas de caracteres ilegibles a la hipergrafía de signos que proliferan y a la inscripción directa sobre la película cinematográfica, amplió el experimento de tratar la letra como materia.
