Ein Ausdruck, der aus der Bürgerrechtsbewegung der mexikanischstämmigen Bevölkerung der USA hervorging. Wandbild, Siebdruckplakat, Lowrider und Lettering bilden ein durchgehendes Vokabular, in dem aztekische Bildzeichen, katholische Heiligenbilder und eine Mischschrift aus Englisch und Spanisch auf derselben Fläche stehen. Ein Beispiel dafür, dass eine Bewegung den Stil hervorbringt.
