Ein Begriff, geprägt für Werke, die außerhalb von Kunstausbildung und Kunstmarkt allein aus einem eigenen System heraus entstehen. Gemeinsam treten die das Bild füllende Wiederholung, eigene Schrift- und Zeichensysteme und die konsequente Wiederverwendung von Material hervor. Weniger ein Stil als der Name für die Bedingungen, unter denen Stil entsteht.
