Compose styles

Rather than blending styles toward a middle, this gives them roles. The first one carries the structure, the next comes in as the accent, and anything after that shows up in a single detail. Where they fight each other, it says so before you start.

How to divide the work

Composition
Follow HarmonyOS Design: Group by function; spread cards sideways on wide screens and stack them by importance on small ones
Type
Set in HarmonyOS Design's manner (Adapt the weight and width of a variable sans to the display and enlarge short headings and numbers), and let Liquid Glass's lettering (Keep text off the material itself and set minimum sizes from measured contrast) appear only where you want the eye to catch.
Material
Ground in HarmonyOS Design's material (Start with bright neutrals, reserve diffusion and translucency for the control layer, and keep one accent family); bring in exactly one thing from Liquid Glass (Use one refracting layer only, letting it pick up the color beneath).
Colour
Build on #F5F7FA, #0A59F7, #172033 and admit one accent from #eaf3f5, #87acbd, #233746.

Where they fight

These are already listed as related entries, so the join should come easily.

Caution

  • HarmonyOS Design Rounded cards alone are not HarmonyOS. Information priority and action continuity must survive the move between devices.
  • Liquid Glass Keep it to the control layer rather than decorating content with translucent cards. Each added layer lets more background through until text fails, so check legibility on devices and honor Reduce Transparency.

Image prompt

Produce four original images that take their structure from HarmonyOS Design (style, 2019–) and their accent from Liquid Glass (style, 2025–). ## What to make Make the kind of thing HarmonyOS Design exists for: recomposing the same information across phones, tablets, vehicles and wearables, or explaining continuity across devices through shared cards, motion and hierarchy. Choose one subject and hold it across all four. ## Structure comes from HarmonyOS Design - Large rounded cards grouping information by function - Wide space on light fields with a few saturated accents - Arcs, concentric circles and gentle scaling for operation states - Cards and variable type recomposed to suit device size Composition: Group by function; spread cards sideways on wide screens and stack them by importance on small ones. Type and lettering: Adapt the weight and width of a variable sans to the display and enlarge short headings and numbers. ## Accent comes from Liquid Glass, used sparingly - Dynamic refraction - Concentric corner radii - Floating control layers - Reflected background color Let one material quality come from it: Use one refracting layer only, letting it pick up the color beneath. ## Colour and feeling Build the ground on #F5F7FA, carry the structure in #0A59F7 and #172033, and let a single accent come from #87acbd. These are read off real works, so a direction rather than a fixed palette. Feeling to carry: futurity, intimacy, technique, luxury. ## What goes wrong - HarmonyOS Design: Rounded cards alone are not HarmonyOS. Information priority and action continuity must survive the move between devices. - Liquid Glass: Keep it to the control layer rather than decorating content with translucent cards. Each added layer lets more background through until text fails, so check legibility on devices and honor Reduce Transparency. ## Across the four Keep the roles fixed in all four. Vary the framing, the scale and the arrangement so the set shows what this pairing can do rather than four versions of one picture. ## Constraints - Do not imitate, reference or name any specific artist, studio, brand, character or copyrighted work. - Do not reproduce the composition of an existing work. - Produce original compositions in the general period languages described above.
