Compose two styles
Rather than blending two styles into a middle, this assigns them roles: one carries the structure, the other appears as an accent. Where the two fight, it says so before you start.
How to divide the work
- Composition
- Follow Biomorphism: Avoid symmetry and close the outline as one continuous line
- Type
- Set in Biomorphism's manner (Choose letterforms without corners and set them along the contour), and let Organic Architecture's lettering (Repeat one geometry down to signs and furniture, adding no foreign typeface.) appear only where you want the eye to catch.
- Material
- Ground in Biomorphism's material (Moulded plywood or resin, plaster, polished wood, joints blended into curves); bring in exactly one thing from Organic Architecture (Local stone and solid timber joined by plaster and matched metalwork.).
- Colour
- Build on #e7dfcf, #8b9b75, #5b493c and admit one accent from #d9d1bd, #77806a, #4d4539.
Where they fight
- Both belong to Modern Architecture, so the difference is small. Push the roles further apart than feels comfortable.
Caution
- Biomorphism Adding curves without measuring against the body leaves nothing the hand can confirm, and the object is merely round.
- Organic Architecture Assembling natural materials and curves without reading contours and sun produces a shell that could stand anywhere, missing the principle that unites site, structure, furniture and movement.
Image prompt
An original image that takes its structure from Biomorphism (Style, 1930s–1960s / ongoing) and its accent from Organic Architecture (Style, 1900s–). Structural cues: Asymmetric curves; Cell-like forms; Smooth continuous surfaces; Abstraction from nature. Accent cues, used sparingly: Integration with terrain; Horizontals; Natural materials; Inside-outside continuity. Composition: Avoid symmetry and close the outline as one continuous line. Type and lettering: Choose letterforms without corners and set them along the contour. Let one material quality come from the second style: Local stone and solid timber joined by plaster and matched metalwork.. Mood: Intimacy, Futurism, Calm, Luxury. Color: build on #e7dfcf, #8b9b75, #5b493c with a single accent drawn from #d9d1bd, #77806a, #4d4539. Constraints: do not imitate, reference or name any specific artist, studio, brand, character or copyrighted work. Produce an original composition in the general period languages described above.

Extends asymmetric, continuous forms suggesting cells, bones, organs and plants into abstraction, furniture, vessels and space.
- Organic Architecture 1900s– / Style / Modern Architecture
Refuses to treat building, furniture, material, terrain and light separately, designing them as one continuum that includes the place and the life lived in it.
