Compose two styles

Rather than blending two styles into a middle, this assigns them roles: one carries the structure, the other appears as an accent. Where the two fight, it says so before you start.

How to divide the work

Composition
Follow Blueprint: Orthographic views, sections, dimension lines tied to real information
Type
Set in Blueprint's manner (Monospace plus drafting-style handwriting), and let Vector Scan Graphics's lettering (Letters drawn as line segments, curves replaced by short straight runs) appear only where you want the eye to catch.
Material
Ground in Blueprint's material (Deep blue, white lines, fine paper grain); bring in exactly one thing from Vector Scan Graphics (Uniform stroke weight with light suggested only by bloom around the line).
Colour
Build on #0e4a78, #4c86ad, #e9f3f5 and admit one accent from #e9e6dd, #67635d, #171615.

Where they fight

  • Both belong to Technical Expression, so the difference is small. Push the roles further apart than feels comfortable.

Caution

  • Blueprint No fake drawings as decoration. Bind everything to actual structure and thought.
  • Vector Scan Graphics The moment fills or cast shadows are added the logic of emitted light collapses and only a dark screen with line art remains.

Image prompt

An original image that takes its structure from Blueprint (Style, industrial) and its accent from Vector Scan Graphics (Style, 1979–1985). Structural cues: White lines on blue; Dimensions; Sections; Handwritten notes. Accent cues, used sparingly: Glowing wireframes; Black void; Uniform luminous lines; Geometric tension. Composition: Orthographic views, sections, dimension lines tied to real information. Type and lettering: Monospace plus drafting-style handwriting. Let one material quality come from the second style: Uniform stroke weight with light suggested only by bloom around the line. Mood: Technology, Trust, Futurism, Calm. Color: build on #0e4a78, #4c86ad, #e9f3f5 with a single accent drawn from #e9e6dd, #67635d, #171615. Constraints: do not imitate, reference or name any specific artist, studio, brand, character or copyrighted work. Produce an original composition in the general period languages described above.
