Rather than blending two styles into a middle, this assigns them roles: one carries the structure, the other appears as an accent. Where the two fight, it says so before you start.
How to divide the work

- Follow Blueprint: Orthographic views, sections, dimension lines tied to real information
- Type
- Set in Blueprint's manner (Monospace plus drafting-style handwriting), and let Monospace's lettering (If body text goes monospace, shorten lines and check zero against O) appear only where you want the eye to catch.
- Material
- Ground in Blueprint's material (Deep blue, white lines, fine paper grain); bring in exactly one thing from Monospace (Drop the background off pure white, open the leading a little).
- Colour
- Build on #0e4a78, #4c86ad, #e9f3f5 and admit one accent from #e9e6dd, #67635d, #171615.
