Compose two styles

Rather than blending two styles into a middle, this assigns them roles: one carries the structure, the other appears as an accent. Where the two fight, it says so before you start.

How to divide the work

Composition
Follow Blueprint: Orthographic views, sections, dimension lines tied to real information
Type
Set in Blueprint's manner (Monospace plus drafting-style handwriting), and let Cyanotype's lettering (White or pale letters; add small classification labels) appear only where you want the eye to catch.
Material
Ground in Blueprint's material (Deep blue, white lines, fine paper grain); bring in exactly one thing from Cyanotype (One deep blue and the paper's white; don't polish away the exposure marks).
Colour
Build on #0e4a78, #4c86ad, #e9f3f5 and admit one accent from #0c3f7a, #2f6fa9, #ecebdc.

Where they fight

These two are already listed as related, so the join should come easily.

Caution

  • Blueprint No fake drawings as decoration. Bind everything to actual structure and thought.
  • Cyanotype A blue filter is not the technique. Understand contact image, exposure and support.

Image prompt

An original image that takes its structure from Blueprint (Style, industrial) and its accent from Cyanotype (Technique, 1842–). Structural cues: White lines on blue; Dimensions; Sections; Handwritten notes. Accent cues, used sparingly: Prussian blue; White object traces; Contact shadows; Chemical unevenness. Composition: Orthographic views, sections, dimension lines tied to real information. Type and lettering: Monospace plus drafting-style handwriting. Let one material quality come from the second style: One deep blue and the paper's white; don't polish away the exposure marks. Mood: Technology, Trust, Futurism, Calm, Nostalgia. Color: build on #0e4a78, #4c86ad, #e9f3f5 with a single accent drawn from #0c3f7a, #2f6fa9, #ecebdc. Constraints: do not imitate, reference or name any specific artist, studio, brand, character or copyrighted work. Produce an original composition in the general period languages described above.
